The Vienna Residence Orchestra is a family business and we have been organizing classical concerts in Vienna since 1990. We also regularly tour with our ensembles and are invited to international festivals.

With more than 150,000 visitors across the 700 to 800 concerts held by the WRO, the summer and Christmas/New Year’s concerts of the Vienna Hofburg Orchestra, and numerous exclusive concerts, the Wiener Residenzorchester Veranstaltungs GmbH is among the largest concert organizers in Austria.

We are currently looking for:

Deputy Evening Service Manager (m/f/d) – Part-time (25h)

 

To strengthen our team, we are looking for a motivated personality with a passion for hospitality and a talent for organization.

Your Tasks:

As Deputy Evening Service Manager, you are the backbone of our concerts. You ensure that everything in front of and behind the scenes is perfectly coordinated:

  • Leadership & Presence: You lead the evening service and are responsible for the smooth admission of our guests.
  • Team Leadership: You take over the scheduling and operational management of the evening service staff.
  • Concert Management: From preparation to execution, you hold the responsibility on-site.
  • Logistics Support: Assisting with the planning of transports and goods acceptance.

 

Your Profile:

You see yourself as an ambassador of Viennese Culture and maintain an overview even when the house is full:

  • Hospitality Mindset: Communicative, outgoing, and absolutely reliable.
  • Organizational Genius: Structured and precise way of working.
  • Language Talent: Excellent German and English skills are essential due to our international audience.
  • Flexibility: You enjoy working when others are enjoying themselves (afternoon and evening hours).

 

Our Offer:
