The tickets were purchased through Vienna Concerts Company on 2nd November 2024 and I received confirmation with the place of concert Kinsky Palace - adres Vienna, Freyund 4.After arriving at Kinsky Palace, it turned out that apart from us (4 tickets) there was no one. The security man said me that there is no concert on 5 th January 2025.I tried to contact Vienna Concert by phone, but initially without result. The landline number +4315123457 did not answer (7;43pm). The mobile numbers +436763185521 (7:43pm, 7:48pm) and +436769006387 (7:54pm) also failed to reach.Finally, at 7:48pm, someone pickedup the phone and confirmed that there would be no concert at the address provided. They were supposed to send the current address of the event.I waited for an email or text message, but I didn't receive it. I called the working number again at 7:55pm and asked for SMS.I received SMS with the correct address a minute later. It was Borsesale at Palais Borse Wipplingerstrasse 34.Not knowing the City of Vienna, we we wandered in the rain to reach for the concert to start. We made it at the last moment, getting back seats at the side of the audience !!!As I learned today at Vienna Concerts, the orchestra changed the concert venue without notifying the seller - Vienna Concerts !!!The Wiener Residenz Orchestra had an over two months to inform me or ticket seller about the changes !!!We are dissatisfied and disappointed with the organization and professionalism of Wiener Residence Orchestra Event Management.We were tired and sweaty because of the brisk walking in the rain. Receiving the concert in such circumstances was not pleasant for us.The concert was not interesting for someone who is a classical music lover. The quality of the performance was at the level of a school orchestra, the tenor's vocals were unacceptable, and the dance performances were forced.Such a common boorish act for tourists in a t-shirt and jeans only to make the money. You can check how many people working in WRO as a managers on wro.at All of them must receive a decent salary. That’s why such ticket prices reflect low quality.I do not recommend it !!!
Title: Misleading Advertising, Disappointing Experience, and Rude ManagementUnfortunately, I had an extremely frustrating experience with this event. When purchasing the ticket, I was led to believe that the venue would be spacious, with a large and elevated stage, ensuring a comfortable and enjoyable experience. However, what I encountered was the exact opposite: a tiny room with no stage or elevation whatsoever, where visibility was terrible.The chairs were uncomfortable and poorly arranged, making the experience even worse. Clearly, the description provided at the time of purchase was intentionally misleading and did not reflect reality in any way.To make matters worse, the manager was incredibly rude and unprofessional. A group of us gathered to voice our complaints, but she repeatedly said she didn’t know what to do, made unpleasant faces, and responded in a dismissive and disrespectful manner.This sales practice and level of customer service are completely unacceptable. I would not recommend this event to anyone. Being deceived and then treated with such lack of respect is intolerable.
A wonderful evening with outstanding artists in a magically designed program. My wife and I will never forget it and will always remember it fondly.
Excellent musicians and artists, wonderful building, very kind and professional, very neat appearance and clothes of all the artists. I recommend it as a wonderful evening for those who want to enjoy live classical music, ballet and opera, all in one !!
Music is amazing, the venue is very nice and the performance is just the right amount of time for people who are traveling.So why the lower marks? The reason is that the orchestra company sells a lot of group tickets to tour companies and other travel entities. 90% of the audience is part of a tour package. Because of that, individual ticket purchasers are sort of pushed to the side for the larger groups.For example, you buy the highest ticket, 75 Euros and what does that get you? Just a seat in the front row, that’s it. No free drink tickets or programs, or any other distinction.There are no signs or details on the ticket either. You have to ask questions. Why? Because group ticket buyers are already informed what to do by the group guide.So, I recommend that people do their homework before booking. Find out what’s included or ask questions. Because the orchestra company has become too accustomed to dealing with large group sales.
Had a great time! Venue was so beautiful. The performance was moving - I could do this every evening.
On a tour with my wife and the play was recommended by our guide. So glad we decided to go. If you're looking to get a feel for the ORCHESTRA, then this is where you need to go! Photography isn't allowed, so I took this at the end of the performance.
an incredible concert, we have been able to enjoy true Viennese music for a very affordable price, we have seen ballet, opera and we have been blessed by very famous classical music, 10/10 recommended, we highlight the final work, the Radetzsky march, accompanied by some wonderful applause that has allowed us to leave in a very good mood, say you are going to vienna you have to see it

This was an amazing experience in this beautiful city! The concert was a mix of Opera, classical music playing Vivaldi, Mozart Beethoven, Strauss and ballet. We really enjoyed the show. In the 15 minutes rest they give you the option to buy orange juice or sparkling wine. We really recommend it!

From the impeccable performances by world-class musicians to the elegant venue with perfect acoustics and ambiance, every moment is filled with passion and precision. A must visit for classical music lovers or new explorers seeking a transcendent and unforgettable concert experience. Staff were most welcoming, accommodating and committed to making it an excellent experience for us. Even my 8 year old loved the experience and the attention given not just by the staff, but performers as well. Felt like one good celebration.I highly recommend this true gem in the world of classical music to anyone. Thank you Wiener Residenzorchester for this amazing experience! Awesome acoustics for a classical concert. This concert combined music from Mozart, Beethoven, and others with ballet and opera. The performance was amazing.
Danube Cruise brought us to Vienna so we just had to do a concert. Enjoyed every single moment of this “packaged for the tourist” delight. What an amazing sound from just 3 violins, a cello, double bass, piano and flute plus 2 dancers and 2 singers. Worth every cent - plus a complementary glass of sparkling wine in the interval. Highly recommend.
Must do while in Vienna. Sure it's a bit touristy, but the music of Mozart should be heard while in Austria!
I was born in Vienna lived there until 11 years old now back from United States after 30+ years... this concert made me proud of my heritage and beauty of the Austrian/Vienna culture. Great performance and in spectacular palaze location, must see and support the orchestra during Covid.
I am surprised that this event got some low reviews. First of all, you must understand what you are going to experience. This is a small chamber Orchestra with a huge sound. The acoustics in this room are exquisite. All of the performers are above average to outstanding. This concert caters to tourists because you are not paying a ridiculous price to see a show at the opera house. You do not have to dress up in your best suits and dresses. The time of the show is a manageable timeframe even for children. You are going to get a very good sample of musical culture of Vienna. Mozart, Strauss, etc. This show is very casual it caters to the casual listener.Back when Mozart was performing here in Vienna, he often performed to small intimate groups. That is what this is.I think that if you go into this with the right state of mind, you will enjoy it immensely.
