The Garden Palace of the royal Liechtenstein family is the most imposing baroque palace in Vienna still in private hands. In the years 2000-2003 it was carefully restored, and the associated park was opened to the public. The palace’s Hercules Hall, with its 600 square meters of frescoes by Andrea Pozzo, is considered to be the most beautiful baroque hall in Europe and provides space for 500 visitors.
The GARDEN PALACE is home to one of the most important private art collections in the world, containing gems from the personal collection of the Princes of Liechtenstein, which can be visited as part of exclusive events, private or public tours. Principal works of European art from the Early Renaissance to the High Baroque are among the treasures in the GARDEN PALACE, including masterpieces by Rubens, Rembrandt, and Raffael.
