Sylvia MoserSylvia Moser – A Musical Wonder Woman!

The daughter of two opera singers, Silvia Moser began her cultural journey at the age of five when she began ballet lessons and soon after starred as first child in „Wozzeck“ and „Der Rosenkavalier“ in her Vienna Opera House debut.
After completing vocal studies, she began singing in the Vienna Opera House choir amongst legends such as Leonhard Bernstein, Herbert von Karajan and Sir Georg Solti. Her star shone even further in 1980 when Silvia achieved 8th place in the Eurovision song contest in The Hague as a member of the group „Blue Danube“ performing the song „You Are Music“.
Engagements followed with Concertgebouw Amsterdam and opera houses in Stuttgart and Regensburg, as well as competitions throughout Germany, The Netherlands, Switzerland and Denmark. Numerous TV appearances for ORF, WDR, RAI and Hungarian television followed. In 1998, together with her husband, composer and pianist Paul Moser, she founded the Wiener Residenzorchester, with whom between 1998 and 2003 she performed 2,400 concerts in The Liechenstein Palace, The Vienna Stock Exchange, and on tour in Argentina, Uruguay, Thailand, Belgium and France.

In Italy Silvia even performed on Saint Marcus Square, Venice, which was broadcast live on RAI.
