Paul Moser
, the much-acclaimed pianist and conductor, born 1959, comes from a famous musical family.
He studied the piano and conducting in the master class of the Vienna Conservatory, in Salzburg with Leon Fleisher, and composition at the Vienna Academy of Music. After winning the Austrian youth piano competition, extensive concert tours took Paul Moser to places all over Europe, USA and South America. This was followed by successful recitals and appearances as a Soloists with leading orchestras and conductors. Paul Moser is a frequent guest in music centers around the world such as New York, Paris, Rome, Milan, London and Vienna, as well as on television and radio. In addition, his conducting has gained increasing importance. As a guest conductor he works with excellent orchestras such as the Philharmonic Orchestras of Györ, Bratislava, Budapest, Florence, the Vienna Residence Orchestra and has received critical acclaim by the press and audiences alike. The Austrian "Neue Zeit" wrote: “Paul Moser performs like a magical poet”. As a Soloists and conductor of the Vienna Residence orchestra he has created an atmosphere of magical quality. Since 1989 Paul Moser has been the music director and chief conductor of the Vienna Residence Orchestra. Whether from the piano or the conductor's podium, concerts are performed in the true Viennese musical tradition, in the spirit of Mozart and Johann Strauss.
Sadly, Paul Moser passed away on 6.April 2004, far too early
